Choose the placement area with DW.
Identify a firm, level area and discuss its surface with the team. Check that the position will work for loading and eventual collection. A driveway or job-site space that fits the container is not necessarily large enough for the delivery vehicle. Tell DW about slopes, soft ground, tight turns, gates or other restrictions before scheduling.
Clear the route and the space overhead.
Move vehicles and other obstacles from the planned access path. Check trees, overhead wires, awnings and structures. Arrange any gate access and make sure an available field contact can answer placement questions. Do not provide access codes in public website notes; coordinate site-entry details directly with DW.
Share the loading rules with everyone using the box.
Confirm the material and loading guidance, then give those instructions to the household or crew. Keep prohibited material out and debris below the top rail. Concrete and dirt require the 16-yard option. If other people can access the container, monitor what is being loaded instead of discovering an unacceptable item at pickup.
Plan pickup before access disappears.
Confirm how and when to request removal. Keep the collection route and container accessible until the job is complete. Contact DW before the rental period expires if work is running late. A requested pickup or delivery date is not a confirmed slot until the team agrees to it.
Questions before you rent
How long can I keep the dumpster?+
DW will confirm the rental period for your job when quoting. Explain whether you are planning a one-day cleanup, a weekend project or a longer renovation. Ask about the cost and process for extending the rental before the initial period ends.
Can I request next-day delivery?+
DW advertises next-day service. Actual timing depends on the container, location and availability. Include your preferred date in the request or call the team if timing is urgent. Submitting a request does not reserve a delivery slot.
